I'd never been on a motorbike before. I wasn't sure I wanted to pass up the opportunity. Kenny had offered to take me for a spin. A "driving lesson" if you would. I agreed and off we rode.

We passed by many cars - he rode a tad recklessly. Nonetheless, I becameenamoredwith motorbikes. I decided to get an "official" lesson. I met up with the instructor - Bob - and he told me that the driving lessons cost would be $500.

"Five hundred?!" I almost couldn't believe it.

"Well, yes," he replied. "To help the insurance groups out."

"Insurance groups?"

"Yes. Insurance groups." Wow. I didn't know that insurance groups even existed. I got on the motorbike and we did a few passes around the block.

"Do you like motorcycles?" he asked.

"Yes, I do."

"Did you know that you could make a killing renting your traveling to people." As passed someone else who was on motorbike. We waved to him, and he waved to us.

"No, I didn't. Do you mean a literal killing, or a financial killing?" He laughed.

"Yes, the motorbike does seem dangerous, doesn't it? However, if you play your cards right, you could even pass up those blue collar folk who make $100k a year."

"Wow! Really?" I stared down at the changing scenery, thinking about the profit and of living the good life.

"M-hm!"

"How do I start? What do I do?" He slowed down his bike, and we both got up.

"What are you paying me for lessons?"

"Five hundred."

"That's right. And that's for about three times. Imagine if you got certified to give rides and teach people how to ride."

"There's a demand for it?"

"Come on. Aren't YOU paying?"

"Well, yeah, but... I don't imagine it to be a very lucrative and affording opportunity. I think most people would pass it by, instead opting for just riding the motorbike off into the distant sun."

"Well, you'd be wrong about that." He revved the engine. "Haven't you ever read Garfield?"

"Y'know, for a story in which we're trying to include the phrases 'driving lessons cost', 'insurance groups', 'motorbike', and 'pass', we're doing a pretty bad job at conversation."

*blankly staring at each other*

"Well, at least the story is done."
